Mrs. Janie Lou Hamilton 90, of Greenville, widow to Lee Weston Hamilton, Sr., transitioned on Saturday September 6, 2025 at her residence. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Cleveland and Elsie Dean Goldsmith.
Surviving: one daughter, Verna Lee (James Claude) Dendy, of Greenville, SC; three sons, Lee (Kathy) Westine Hamilton, Jr., and Patrick (Lela) Hamilton, both of Piedmont, SC; and Walter (Sabrina) Hamilton, of Greenville, SC; one brother, Harold Goldsmith, of Gaffney, SC; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
