Martinez, GA — Martha Lenore (Lee) Pinson Miller born November 16, 1931, went home to be with her loving Savior on March 30, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Newt Sr. and Jean Pinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Miller and her brother, Newt Pinson Jr.
A native of Lincolnton, Mrs. Miller lived most of her adult life in Augusta. She retired as a vice president of Com Systems and in her spare time, enjoyed gardening and making her famous Grammy’s Gourmet Goodies. A loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, Mrs. Miller was the matriarch of her family in every sense of the word. Not only did she raise and provide for her four children, but she instilled in them the qualities she displayed in her own life. Mrs. Miller was known for her independence, loyalty, diligence, generosity, but most importantly, her love for the Lord. She was a faithful member of Warren Baptist Church for more than 70 years where she served as a longtime Sunday school teacher.
Surviving family members include her sons: David (Lenore) Miller, Richard (Linda) Miller; daughters: Donna (Denton) Johnson, Robin (Mark) Sullivan; grandchildren: David (Cassandra) Miller, Victoria (Timothy) Hoff, Michael Miller, Shannon (Lynn) Kuykendall, Shaun (Ginger) Miller, Lindsay (Ryan) McKenzie), Joshua (Amelia) Johnson, Jennifer (Lee) Lancaster, Wes (Ashlee) Sullivan, Marshall (Caroline) Sullivan, Callie Sullivan; great-grandchildren: Thomas Miller, Andrew Miller, Evan Hoff, Eliza Hoff, Mia Miller, Lance (Sara) Cummings, Landon Kuykendall, Elena Kuykendall, Anna Brooke Miller, Grant McKenzie, Katelyn McKenzie, Emma (Drew) McClung, Caroline Johnson, Sadie Johnson, Beau Lancaster, Katie Grace Lancaster, Hendrix Lee Sullivan, Tyse Sullivan, Mila Sullivan; great-great grandchildren: Easton McClung, Everly McClung, Isa Burleigh; brother: Larry (Ann) Pinson; sisters: Pat (Neal) Clay, Nancy (Forest) Inglett; sister-in-law: Betty Pinson and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.
A funeral service will be held in the Worship Center of Warren Baptist Church at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, with Dr. David McKinley officiating. A private burial will take place at Double Branches Baptist Church Cemetery in Lincolnton. Pallbearers will be Judge David Roper, Tim Jennings, Richard Manly, Craig Dozier, Louis Tankersley, Robbie Jones, Skip Balkcum, Jim Overstreet, David Edwards, and Ray Norred. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Miller Sunday School Class, Barbara Jennings, Betty Crick, Billie Hunter, Reba McCoy, and Julia Pascal.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Women’s Center, 801 Insperon Drive, Grovetown, GA 30813.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church.
