Msry Jane Tolliver

Mrs. Mary Jane Tolliver, 91, of Wooster, Ohio transitioned to her eternal home on Monday, November 10, 2025 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home, Dalton, Ohio.

Mrs. Tolliver was born on March 25, 1934 in Youngstown, a daughter of William Howard Taft Clark and Margaret. Webster Clark. She was a graduate of The Rayen School, then attended Youngstown State University's Secretarial school. Prior to the birth of her first child, she worked assisting in the salon at Strouss Department Store. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Tolliver was a parishioner for over sixty years at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Mary Jane was an expert dancer and won three (3) professional dance competitions for the "Jitterbug". In addition, she enjoyed watching Chuck Norris movies, roller skating, watching professional wrestling and playing bingo.

She leaves to cherish her beloved memory, a daughter, Pamela Denise Tolliver, MSTE, BA, a 31 year survivor of frontal lobe traumatic brain injury; five grandchildren, including Dr. Atty. Clarence Henry Tolliver III; a cousin, Dr. Joan Boyd; a special friend, Jeri S. Masters; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Clark; her beloved husband, whom she married on May 19, 1958; a son, Lt. Clarence Henry Tolliver Jr. (Navy retiree); four brothers William, Paul, Donald, and Kenneth Clark.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Rd., Youngstown, Ohio 44505. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
