Pierson’s Funeral ServiceIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Murie Joan Hiscock, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at Evanston Grand Village in Calgary, AB. Murie was born in Montreal (April 19, 1933) and will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. Murie is survived by her two sons, Norman and David. She was the middle child of Edna and Mack Lawlor and recently grieved the loss of her siblings George Lawlor and Betty Rowley. Throughout her life Murie was heavily involved in her church and community.
A Funeral Mass will be held for Murie at Good Shepherd Church in Star of the Sea Parish (2250 - 150 Street, Surrey) on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 11:00 am. Murie will be laid to rest next to her husband, Harry, at Gardens of Gethsemani Cemetery.
