Muriel Inez Martin, 93, of West Plains, Missouri, entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Maker on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at approximately 9:07 p.m. She was born on June 18, 1932, in Mountain View, Arkansas, to the late Blanche Irene and Edgar Lee Lourance. In November 1951, she was united in marriage to Elvis Lee Martin, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Martin dedicated her life to caring for others as a home health worker and was known for her servant's heart and compassion. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose faith in God was steadfast. Her relationship with the Lord guided every aspect of her life, and she believed wholeheartedly that He would provide for every need. Her children were her greatest joy, and she considered them her life's most precious blessing.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis Ralph Martin and Donald Ray Martin; three sisters, Evelyn Lucille Snyder, Sarah Emma Jean Harris, and Thelma Louise Henry; and one brother, William Vernon Lourance.

She is survived by her beloved children: Patricia Ann Daniels, Saundra Jean Cutting, Marvin Lee and Sandra Martin, Evelyn Louise and Kenneth Miller, and Debra Lynn Mullins, all of Mountain View, MO, Karen Elizabeth Miller of Charlotte, NC, and Pamela Kim and Randy Taylor of Golden, MS. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and extended family members, and friends who will cherish her memory.

Mrs. Martin was a shining example of Christian faith and grace, living her life in service to others and reflecting the love of Christ in all she did. She will be remembered as a woman of great strength, humility, and devotion.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2-3:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Montier Cemetery, Montier, Missouri.
