Muriel Lea (Blade) Pugh passed away on October 7, 2025 in Bartlesville.

Muriel was born on August 27, 1933, to Emil Johan Blade and Nora (Ritter) Blade in Caney, Kansas. She graduated from Copan High School in 1951. On March 24, 1953, she married her husband, William Frankie "Tuck" Pugh. They traveled for Tuck's work throughout the 1950s until the mid-1970s when they eventually settled down at their home in Oglesby, Oklahoma. Later in life, Muriel enjoyed sewing, her favorite TV show 'Young and the Restless' and being Grandma Mert to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tuck Pugh, her brother George Blade and her grandson Taylor Robert Bradley. She is succeeded in death by her four daughters; Norma Ketchum of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Barb Lake of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Brenda (Chuck) Bradley of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Patricia Oates of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Other family members include nieces, Melinda Blade, of Coronado, California and Vickie Singer of Parker, Kansas. Succeeding grandchildren: Steven (Angela) Ketchum, David Ketchum, Shelby Bradley, BJ (Annie) Lake, Daniel (Karen) Cramer, Jennifer Ingold-Holmes, Dylan (Kaylun) Oates, Sophie (Ryan) Eddings, and Noah Oates. Muriel is also succeeded by twelve great-grandchildren and numerous other extended family members and friends.

Muriel's family will receive friends on Friday, October 10th from 6-7 p.m., at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 918-333-7665, 4201 Nowata Rd, Bartlesville. Visitation will also be held on Friday from 10-8 p.m.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 11th at 9:30 a.m., at Davis Family Funeral Home – Walker Brown Chapel. Interment will follow in the Oglesby Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel.
