Murl Marr Obituary
Viewing will be at Crews Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 2, between 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 3, between 10:00 a.m.-Noon. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Apache. Pallbearers will be Clay Marr, Mark Marr, Brett Marr, Travis Head, Jared Head and Johnnie Pickens. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Murl graduated from Apache High School and attended classes at Cameron University. He was employed in Dolese's procurement area for 52 years. He loved to go fishing and hunting. Murl also enjoyed skeet shooting and loved to make his own ammunition. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William 'Bill' Marr; and brother-in-law, Jerry Dale Roberts.
Murl is survived by his brother, Ricky Marr and wife Nicole of Elk City; sister, Sharon Roberts of Apache; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
