Murphy VanWright completed his earthly labors on December 26, 2025.
His loving wife MaeDella and son Darryl preceded him in death.
Murphy is survived by his sons Gregory, Grady, and Kelvin (Angela); his brother Stafford VanWright; and a host of relatives and friends.
His life will be celebrated on Saturday, January 10, 2026, 11:00 am at Sovereign Grace Church, 5004 Broadway St., Pearland, TX 77581. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am.
