Myla was born in Saxton, PA and was the daughter of the late Robert and Elva (Garner) Grubb. She worked as an executive secretary for the president of National Geographic for over 50 years.
Myla is survived by her niece Pamela M. Dacus; 6 nieces and nephews; and 4 great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Hilda Horne.
Funeral services are being held privately by the family under the direction of Murphy-Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of McSherrystown.
Memorial contributions in Myla's memory may be made to the York County SPCA, 3159 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17404.
