Myles was born on May 3, 1988, in Warrenton, Virginia, to Dennis Dodd and Deborah Decker. He was a 2006 graduate of North Newton High School and went on to earn an education degree from Purdue Northwest. Myles worked as the Human Resources Manager at Securitas Security Services.
On October 18, 2008, Myles married Jessica Goad, and together they built a beautiful life, raising their beloved daughter, Olivia. Myles was deeply passionate about history, particularly World War II, often participating in reenactments and acting in related performances. He was also an avid video game enthusiast.
Myles is survived by his wife, Jessica Dodd; daughter, Olivia Dodd; mother, Deborah (Mark) Heptinstall; sisters, Tyler (Blaine Bond) Dodd, Jennifer (Billy) Mosedale, and Robin (Casey) Grubbs; step-siblings, Jack (Lera) Heptinstall, Michael Heptinstall, and Kellie Heptinstall; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Dodd, and sister, Kaitlin Dodd-Hitchings.
In accordance with the family's wishes, cremation rites have been entrusted to Jackson Funeral Service of DeMotte.
Memorial contributions in Myles' honor may be made to Camp Kesem, Indiana University Chapter [https://www.kesem.org/chapters/Indiana].
