Myles Edward (Mickey) Murphy, 74, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025. Born April 11, 1951, in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of Joseph and Catherine Murphy.
Mickey graduated from Carmel High School, Carmel, Indiana, in 1970 and worked as a landscaper for many years, making the outside beautiful. He enjoyed music, painting, reading scripture, and being outdoors.
His parents and grandparents preceded him in death.
Mickey leaves the following to cherish his memory: sisters, Diane (Everett) Jones of Greenfield, Indiana, and Michele (Tom) Perkins of Westfield, Indiana, along with his second family (the Herrings) and special friends from the Kansas City area.
A celebration of life mass will occur in late July at Redemptorist Catholic Church in Kansas City, Missouri.
