Myra Lynn Henderson died on February 13, 2025. She was an amazingly beautiful person with a complexity of spirit that few fully understood. She believed in kindness to all creatures and loved the earth. She constantly would look for ways to lessen her impact on this planet. She cared about others' needs and about social justice. And even though she often felt like an outsider, she continually viewed this world and this life as a precious experience worth all the pain and struggles. She wasn't afraid to resist oppressive behavior and define herself on her own terms. She filled her creative time with numerous large quilts, knitted garments, herbal studies, and gardening. She was an avid reader, collector of rocks and minerals, and believed the world was full of magic. She loved music, played the piano, and was learning guitar. Those who knew her absorbed the beauty of her spirit and were enriched by her generosity, support, and sacrifice. Her love was unconditional and all who knew her trusted her completely. She is at peace now, joining her parents. Someday the rest of her family will see her again.
She is survived by her son John Henderson, and her three siblings, Bonnie Badger (Phil), Dan Watkins (Joanna Foster), and Allen Watkins (Connie).
