Myra Georgetta Stepp

Myra Georgetta Stepp, 75, of Hendersonville, passed away on December 28, 2023. She was born in Henderson County to Edward E. and Estella D. Hyder.
Myra was a dedicated wife and mother. She married her sweetheart Clayton in 1966 and together they had two children, Clayton Jr. and Eric, both of whom were her pride and joy. She was a homemaker, mother, and believer, and was an active member of In Jesus' Name Baptist Church in Hendersonville.
Myra is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clayton William Stepp, Sr; her children, Clayton William Stepp, Jr. (Kimberly) and Eric Brent Stepp (Candy); her grandchildren: Noah William Stepp, Taylor Shay Stepp, Zachary Shay Stepp, and Lexi Shea Reese; her great-grandchildren: Lakota Cantrell, Lana Cantrell, and Forrest Taylor; her mother, Estella D. Hyder; her brother, Edward Eric Hyder (Dale); and a number of beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Myra is predeceased by her father, Edward E. Hyder; and her nephew, Bobby W. Hyder.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 13th at 2:00pm at In Jesus' Name Baptist Church in Hendersonville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
