Myriam O. Brassfield, age 87, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away on July 11, 2025. Born on May 7, 1938 in Carlisle, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Winford and Ina Pruett.

Born into a large farm family (the youngest of 9 siblings on a homestead farm in Snake Island, Arkansas), Myra Pruett was born May 7th 1938 and went to be with the Lord July 11th 2025 at her home in Heber Springs. From her humble upbringing to leading successful ministries alongside her husband, Leon G Brassfield, that reached around the world for over fifty years, her life was filled with faith and family. Her strong devotion for family and Jesus Christ was on clear display through every season of her life. Countless lives were impacted by her generous heart and hospitable nature. She loved everyone who would give her a chance. She was always an encourager, always a blessing and would give her last dollar to someone in need.

Myra's life included serving and assisting five generations of Christian Ministers, Her Father Winford, her husband Leon, her sons (who both served in ministry) Kenneth and Phillip, and her grandsons Adam, Aaron and Phillip Andrew who have served or are currently serving as ministers as well. She started in the brush arbor meetings and the winds of revival with her father and finished this life as a prayer warrior supporting her son and grandsons in their ministries. She was devoted to her husband who passed away in August 2010 and then lived as a resident of Heber Spring for the last 13 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Winford and Ina, husband Leon G. Brassfield, a son Kenneth Brassfield.
