Myrl Kenneth Line

Myrl was born on October 8, 1922 and passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015. Myrl was a resident of Rolla, Missouri at the time of his passing. Myrl earned a Bachelorâs Degree from the Missouri School of Mines in Mechanical Engineering now Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla. He served honorably in the U.S. Army earning the rank of 1St Lieutenant serving from April 15 1944 ïï December 8 1945. He served as a pilot during WWII in many areas but primarily in Italy and Brazil being awarded the Euro-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five Bronze Stars the Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters the Distinguished Unit Citation the American Campaign Medal and two Air Force Overseas Ribbons. He was married to Virginia. A funeral service for Myrl Line will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday January 3 2016 at the Null Son Funeral Home followed by burial in Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 12 noon at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Myrl Line are suggested to the First Church of God in St. James.
