Myrna Prange, age 84 of Delavan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Heartland Senior Living, Parker Oaks Campus, in Winnebago, MN.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Patton Funeral Home in Blue Earth, MN, with Rev. Aaron Evenson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 9:30AM. Interment will take place in Riverside cemetery in Blue Earth.
Myrna Ann Prange was born to Ed and Anna (Vogt) Martin on December 3, 1940 in Blue Earth. She was baptized on January 5, 1941 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmore and confirmed on May 30, 1954 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Blue Earth. Myrna graduated from Blue Earth High school in 1958. On December 20, 1958, she married the love of her life Larry Prange at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth. Together they were blessed with three children; Sue, Janice, and Alan. Myrna was a lifelong member of St Paul Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school, and sang in the choir her younger years. She farmed along with Larry on their dairy farm. Myrna enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, and spending time with her loved ones, always cherishing the moments they shared together. Her strong commitment to her family, friends, and faith never wavered, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Sue (Mike) Hesse, Janice (Mark) Rauenhorst, Alan Prange; grand-children, Heather (Patrick) Schiltz, Kristina (Russell) Gresham, Brady (Amanda) Rauenhorst, Keri (Jake) Hesse, Cali (Taylor) Teems, Kile (Jamie) Hesse; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Beckett, and Brexton Trudeau, Sadie Schiltz; Aspen and Bryce Gresham; Harper and Hadley Teems; Dean and Zoey Hesse; Isla and Otto Rauenhorst.
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Anna Martin; parents-in-law, Alfred and Florence Prange; two sisters; three brothers-in-law; one sister; one niece and four nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to UHD hospice and Heartland Senior Living.
