Myrna Helen Stithem

A graveside service for Myrna Helen Stithem, age 86 of Lindale, Texas, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Lindale City Cemetery with Father David Bailey officiating.
Myrna passed away Friday, April 19, 2024, at her home in Lindale. She was born March 30, 1938, in North Platte, Nebraska to the late Henry James and Annabell (Booth) Lemmer. Myrna has lived in Lindale for the last 40 years where she was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church, and was previously of Elm Creek, Nebraska. She lived her life as a loving homemaker and enjoyed reading historical romance novels, working crossword puzzles, and studying family genealogy. Myrna was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Stithem; granddaughter, Brytnie Leah Stithem; and her loving siblings.
Myrna is survived by her daughter, Debbie Stithem of Florida; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Tracy Stithem of Lindale and Tim and Melanie Stithem of Lake Palestine; grandchildren, Jarod and Therese Stithem of South Carolina, Casey and Becca Newland of Oklahoma, Savanah and Mikal Wulfe of Tyler, Jordan Brown of lake Palestine, Timothy Vance of Tyler, and Josh Praytor of Van; many great grandchildren; niece, Julie and Larry Stroth of Prairie Village, Kansas; nephew, Lynn Swartwood of Nebraska; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
A rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale with a visitation following until 8:00 p.m.
