Myron passed away peacefully July 26, 2024. He was born to S. Reed Bennett and Laura Williams June 18, 1948. He married Suzan Pearl Smith on August 30, 1969. They had 10 children together but later divorced. He loved his family with all his heart.
Myron proudly served in the US Navy and was a Vietnam Vet. He loved hunting, camping, family reunions and shooting his guns. A favorite pass time was to meet friends for a cup of coffee, and just pass the time.
He is Survived by eight children: “Reed” Bennett; Myron “Glen” (Christina) Bennett Jr.; Laura “Jeannette” (David) Gifford; Janine “LaNae” (Edward) Belak; S. “John” (Leslie) Bennett; “Sterling” (Carrie) Walker; “Edward” H.; and “Hans” (Seine) H. Seventeen Grandchildren: Levi, Haizlie, Jacob, Myron, Domonic, Megan, Tyler, Jeremy, Spencer, Alexander, Michael, Bobby, Sammy, Ally, Andy, Jacquie, Benjamin, and numerous Bonus Grandchildren, His Sister Gay McHargue, Cousin Kay, many Nieces and Nephews
He is proceeded in Death by his beloved brother Clyde Bennett, Daughter Annette “Marie” Bennett, Son Wendell Robert “Bobby” Bennett, Father Samuel Reed Bennett, Mother Laura Amanda Williams, Stepmother Sylvia Ann Lowe, Brother-in-law Paul McHargue and many loving cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
Thank you to the staff at Sandstone Pioneer nursing home for caring for our dad and assisting to make his life comfortable for the last 4 years. Thank you to Ogden Region Hospital in assisting him in the last hours of his life.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 31, 2024, at The Red Church, 1200 N. 1000 W, Mapleton Utah. Viewing will be Wednesday July 31, 2024 @ 09:30. Funeral will be July 31, 2024 @ 11:00. To follow, there will be Military Services at the Evergreen Cemetery, 400 E Street, Springville, Utah.
