MILLERSBURG - Myron N. (Mynie) Bowman, age 94, of Millersburg died June 22, 2024, at Brookdale Grayson View.
He was born on July 29, 1929 in Klingerstown, PA the son of the late Neil and Bessie (Schadel) Bowman.
Myron was married to Mae A. Bowman for 68 years.
He retired as truck driver Carolina Freight of Carlisle, prior to that he worked for the federal government at Middletown, Schlegel Bus Company, sold insurance for Washington National, and courier for Community Banks, Millersburg.
Myron served his country in the US Army and served from 1948 - 1952 during the Korean Conflict.
Myron was a member of the Teamsters, Millersburg Fire Company, and the Millersburg Moose.
He enjoyed baseball and was a fan of the Harrisburg Senators, he also enjoyed woodworking, photography, and collecting coins.
He is survived by his children Alan D. Bowman and his wife Sandy of Millersburg, Denise M. Teats and her husband Rick of Halifax.
He was a proud pappy of Shelley Miller and her husband Tim of Halifax, David Bowman of Millersburg, Steve Bowman and his wife Tressa of Millersburg, Lindsay Naugle and her husband Jeffrey of Spring Grove, Nathan Teats and his wife Kira of Harrisburg and Ben Teats and his wife Carly of Morgantown PA, fourteen great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his brothers Raymond and Robert, and sisters Lorene, Marilyn, Dolly, and Shirley.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Breast Cancer Awareness.
