A memorial celebration will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Crossroads Christian Fellowship 77 Albany Ave. Kingston.
The service will start at 11:00 am with a luncheon following in the Church Fellowship Hall. A livestream of the service may be viewed here
Myron Erdossy, 83, died peacefully after a long illness on March 18, 2025.
Myron was born in Hazlelton, PA to Margaret Horlacher and Frederick Erdossy. He has one brother, Robert, who married Esther Faust and is living in Whitehall, PA. He had a sister who passed away and was married to Carl Morton of Drums, PA. He also has many nieces and nephews.
Myron was married for 65 wonderful years to his beloved wife Rosemary, his High School sweetheart, and has three beautiful daughters: Janice, married to Rev. Dr. Joseph Beadle of Kingston, NY, Christine, married to Joseph Blydenburgh of Dobson, NC, and Lynda, married to Ronald Beadle of Wilton, NH. He has nine amazing grandchildren and eleven sweet great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.
Myron was a veteran of the Air Force and served in Fukuoka, Japan for two years on the flightline and then as an instructor at the Air Force base in Denver, CO.
Myron worked for IBM for 29 years as a Process Engineer and received many awards. He also worked for Ulster Savings Bank in maintenance for 13 years.
Myron was a long time member of Crossroads Christian Fellowship, formerly the First Baptist Church in Kingston where he served a a Trustee and a Deacon.
Myron enjoyed fishing, scenic riding through the countryside, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. He loved music and played the guitar. He also led a group of teens in a singing ministry called Living Light. He had a great interest in reading, especially books on Physics and Science, and was a World War II history buff.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Ministry Center, 73 Albany Ave. in Kingston. Or you can speak with Pastor Frank Vernol, 845-331-5044.

Sending a hug. Though you are all missing him so much, he is at peace. I will always remember a long time ago, just graduated from Oneonta and working down in IBM Poughkeepsie, with no car to get there.
