Obituary of Myron John Klewicki, Jr.
Myron John Klewicki, Jr., 78, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Charlotte (Bartlett) Klewicki passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2024. He was born on February 10, 1946 to the late Myron John, Sr. and Lucille (Anisko) Klewicki. After graduating from Rocky Hill High School and serving in the Army during Vietnam, Myron worked as a Systems Engineer for Aetna for 44 years before retiring. Myron enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He traveled the world with the love of his life and shared stories often about the places he had seen. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. His love of animals was apparent from a very young age and over the years, he fostered seven Fidelco puppies, with his wife, Charlotte. Myron was also an active member of Ss. Isidore and Maria Parish in St. Paul Church. Besides his wife of 53 years, he is survived by his daughter, Cindy Murray, her husband Jeff and their son Jason. His son, Myron Klewicki III, his wife Stephanie and their daughters Courtney and Liana. His sister Elaine Littmann, her husband Eric and his sister Sandy Klewicki. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 26 at 9:30am at Ss. Isidore and Maria Parish in St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 25 from 4pm to 6pm at Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation.
