Myron F. Kosmalski

Myron F. Kosmalski, 97, of Rosholt died Tuesday August 15, 2023, at Wausau Aspirus Hospital. Myron was born on June 22, 1926. He was the son of the late John and Stella (Gavinski) Kosmalski. Myron grew up in the town of Alban and attended local schools.
His marriage to Virginia Dombrowski took place on May 5, 1951, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church Fancher. Virginia died on March 21, 2004.
Myron worked various jobs, including 32 years at Marathon Electric. Myron was proud of working on his family's farm over the past 97 years.
He taught his children good work ethic and responsibility. Myron's sharp memory and stories will be missed by many.
He was a member of the St. Adalbert's Men's Rosary Society.
Survivors include his nine children, Christine Kostuch, Mary (Leroy) Wiza, Jean Kosmalski, Nancy (Rick) Osowski, Susie (Frank) Kurszewski, Michael (Alanna) Kosmalski, Patrick (Cindy) Kosmalski, Larry (Ludy) Kosmalski and Dennis (Laurie) Kosmalski.
28 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothy Cychosz and sons-in-law, Dennis Kostuch and John Cychosz. Sister, Belvina.
Mass of Christian Burial for Myron will be held on Saturday August 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Adalbert Catholic Church 3315 St. Adalberts Road Rosholt. Rev. Thomas Nirappel will officiate.
Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
