Myron M. Majack, 77, of Lockport, Illinois died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, Wednesday, November 26th at Silver Cross Hospital.
Mr. Majack was born in Joliet on May 21st, 1948. He lived in Lockport for the past 50 years after serving in the United States Air Force as a missile systems analyst, acquiring the position of Staff Sergeant E-5. Upon returning to Lockport after his service, he was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church for 36 years.
Myron is survived by his beautiful wife of 57 years, Carolea Majack (nee Huckfeldt); and sons, Anthony Joel Majack, Christopher Scott Majack (Heather), and Matthew Joseph Majack (Michelle). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Alexandra Lea Majack, Corydon Joseph Majack, Aubrey Marie Lynch, Mason Daniel Lynch, Emmaline Rose Majack, Benjamin Charles Majack; and his beloved dog Missy. Myron is also survived by his sister, JoAnne (Tim) Lyons.
He was preceded in death by his father, Myron Kenneth Majack; mother, Nelda Monica Majack; brothers Gerald Lee Majack and Richard Allen Majack; and infant daughter Carrie Diane Majack.
May he rest in peace in the company of puppies, children, and loved ones.
Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S Hamilton St, Lockport IL 60441 from 9am until the time of service at 10:30am. Inurnment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL.
Mr. Majack was an organ and tissue donor for Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network.
Donations can be made in his honor to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lockport.
