Myron Warren Obituary

Published by Legacy from Sep. 10 to Sep. 11, 2025.
Myron Russell Warren was born on July 21, 1934, to Jesse and Henrietta Warren, in

Indianapolis, Indiana. He made his transition on September 8, 2025 at his home in

Zephyrhills, Florida. Myron, affectionately known as Russ attended Shortridge high school

which he left early to enlist in the Army. While serving in the Army Russ was a part of the

Mule Pack, Nighthawks infantry and fought in the Korean war. After service Russ returned

home, where he met and married his wife of 55 years Deloris (Ellis) Warren on July 22,

1955. Russ and Deloris had four beautiful children and built a wonderful life together in

Martinsville, Indiana. Russ had a long and lucrative career in the trucking industry. He drove

semi-truck doubles for UPS for 10 years and after decades in trucking he decided to retire.

In his retirement he loved flying airplanes, riding 4 wheelers, fishing, hunting and most of all

he loved his family. Also during retirement Russ and Deloris would spend winters in Florida

and summers in Indiana. However, after Deloris passed away in October 2010 Russ

decided to sell the place, they called home in Indiana and make Florida his permanent

residence. He later met his current wife Carol Krause-Warren who he spent his final years

with until his last breath.

Russ was preceded in death by his first wife Deloris Warren, mother Henrietta Warren

Simpson, father Jesse Warren, stepfather Estelle Simpson, brother Bill Warren, stepbrother

David Simpson, sister Rita Simpson and son Wayne Warren. He leaves behind to cherish

his memory his wife Carol Krause-Warren, sister Barbara Goodwin, daughter Kelly ( Darrell)

Clawson, son Randy Warren, daughter Judy Kennett and a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, family and friends.
