Myrtice Simpson Obituary
Myrtice was born in Moultrie, GA on April 29, 1934, to William Thomas Cole and Ida Pearl Tucker. Myrtice was a devoted follower of Christ. She had attended Lake Gibson Nazarene Church for many years and was dearly loved by many. Myrtice loved playing piano and singing old time Christian songs. Myrtice loved going fishing with her husband and dearly loved her family.
Myrtice was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Lanelle and Sara, brother Duelle, husband, Henry E. Simpson, son Thomas Simpson, and daughter Sherry Simpson Matthews.
She is survived by her son David Simpson (Kathy), daughter-in-law. Kaye Silver Simpson and son in law, Dwight Matthews. Beloved Grannie to Grandchildren, Derrick and Kaleb Mathews, Tyler Simpson, Brooke Chang, Brittany Skinner and Stephanie Swezey. Several great grandchildren and great greatgrandchildren.
Funeral service provider by Lakeland Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 2125 South Bartow Hwy, Lakeland, FL 33801. Family and friends service to be held on Friday, July 25th, 2025, at 10 am with family viewing at 9:30 am.
