Myrtle Walding Hinkle, Nanny Peacefully went to be with her Lord at 12:22 p.m. on September 27, 2025, 4 days after her 93rd birthday. Myrtle was born in Conroe, Texas on September 23, 1932. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Missouri City. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Virgil Hinkle and Max Walding. Her Mother and Father, Samuel and Ada Godsey. Sister Evelyn Sallee and brother Samuel Godsey III. Her son James Walding and great granddaughter Deanna Smith. Myrtle, Nanny is lovingly remembered by her daughters Jackie Lorino and Larry, Janice Wilson and Jesse, Jill Bergman and Mike. Nanny's grandchildren, Kara Clark, Rachel Brannon, Tracey Walding, Shannon Mathias, Rebecca Richie, Natasha Walker and Eric Bergman. Myrtle was also blessed with 16 great grandchildren and 10 Great great grandchildren. Myrtle was an avid gardener, quilter and crochet master. She loved spending time with her family and baking the best desserts. Known for her Martha Washington Candy. She had a wonderful sense of humor and absolutely loved music.. Singing and listening. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Orchard Park at Southfork Memory care facility for their care for 9 years. Also, to Hospice Care Team for their assistance in the last few months. A celebration of life service will be on Saturday, October 4th at 11:00 a.m. at South Park Funeral Home 1310 N. Main St. Pearland, TX 77581
