I am so sorry to hear of Myrtle's death. I learned of this from my cousin, Chris Bjork. I know how devoted John was to Myrtle. You are in my prayers.

Terry, Allen and John,

I was so sorry to hear that one of the greatest people of all time has left us. My memories of Mert will stay with me forever. Mert always made us feel special and reminded us that we were so lucky to have such a strong friendship.

The first Christmas card of the season always came from Mert and I will miss that. She was a "one-of-a-kind" special lady and I feel fortunate to have known her.

Mert was such a good friend to my mom and also to my kids when they would visit their grandma. I so appreciated all she did for mom and their ongoing friendship. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, she was a lovely lady and will be missed by many.

Mert, as she was commonly referred to by my mother, was a great friend to my mom when she lived on 52nd and Chicago. Mert was always so upbeat and fun. I'm sure she will be missed by all. Blessings and Peace to you. (Ann Anderson's daughter, Jane)

John, Allan, & Terry:

I can truthfully say that of all the relationships I built throughout our high school years and after with our friend's parents, Myrt was always the most vivacious, loving and giving. It was always a treat to visit Terry's house and be greeted so warmly. I will always treasure those memories as I'm sure you will as well.
You are in our hearts and prayers!
