all we have are memories now but they are all good memories
My Mom Myrtle Clarke (Penny) and My Aunt Myrt on the left taken in 1991. Two strong women making Heaven a better place.

My Aunt Myrt was my Dad, Francis Clarke's half sister. She was the epitome of kindness and love. I remember one time I had traveled to Vermont from Baltimore, Maryland to take care of some personal business, and she opened her home to me for the weekend. I cannot remember if I contacted her earlier, or if I ran into her in Bellows Falls. I had not seen her in years, but she accommodated me like one of her kids. I remember running into her at the IGA on a Saturday afternoon, and she asked me if I would be home for dinner. I felt guilty because I asked her what we were having, and she said meatloaf. I said sure, which according to my upbringing was what I should have said in the first place without asking. I always liked visiting her and her family on the few occasions I was in New England. I felt at home there because her house was orderly and disciplined like my family was while I was growing up. Thank you, Aunt Myrt for always being there. Love, Dennis Clarke
