Myrtle "Terri" E. Sarosy, age 83, of Brookhaven, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on August 26, 2025.
She was born in Chester and spent the majority of her life in Aston, where she raised her 3 children. During her career, she worked at Aston Presbyterian Day Care and volunteered with Aston AA. After retiring, she and her husband relocated to Millsboro, Delaware, where she remained active in the community through the Elks Lodge in Cape Henlopen and served as secretary of the American Legion in Rehoboth
She is predeceased by her parents, Orville and Grace Palmer.
Myrtle is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, William Sarosy; her daughter Susan, (Nick) Nicolaides and their children, Katie, Maria, Stephanie, and Alex; her son, William Jr, (Tammy), and their children Shane and Megan; and her daughter, Sandra (Greg) Baron, and their children Samantha and Zachary.
All funeral services will be private.
