Myrtle E. Sitsler, 95, of Coffeyville passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Medicalodge Coffeyville on Midland.

Myrtle met and married Jack Scott Voris and from that union there were six children born. Later in life Jack and Myrtle were divorced.

Myrtle had a full life working and raising her children. In 1976 she met a wonderful man Andy Sitsler, all of her children liked and approved of him. Myrtle and Andy were married on October 14th, 1976. Andy preceded her in death on January 12, 1987.

Myrtle is survived by 3 of her children, Robert L. Voris and wife Donna of Independence, Kansas, Linda Voris Baughn and husband Don of Chanute, Kansas, and Larry J. Voris and wife Paula of Wichita, Kansas; one daughter-in-law, Cheryl Voris of North Carolina; twenty-two grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; plus many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and step-great-great-grandchildren and Myrtle loved each and every one of them.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Edith Redman; her husband Andy Sitsler; her sister Ruth (Redman) Voris of Nowata, Oklahoma, her daughter Elizabeth (Voris) Nipper of Coffeyville, Kansas; two sons Kenneth R. Voris of Coffeyville, Kansas and Jack Scott Voris, Jr. of Alabama; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.

Myrtle was a long-time member of Tyro Christian Church and the JOY Group. Myrtle has been characterized as onery, special, and a tough cookie but she loved hard and long her family and friends. She asked Jesus Christ into her heart many years ago and did it whole heartedly. If we know Christ we will see her again. We love you, Mom. Thank you for everything.
