Myrtle Frances Richardson Williams, 92, of Bennettsville, South Carolina, completed her earthly journey on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

Mrs. Williams was born June 18, 1930, in Richmond County, North Carolina, the eldest daughter of James Frank and Annie Mae Elmore Richardson. She was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, where she had served as a Sunday School teacher and member of the WMU. For many years she worked with Thomas Memorial Day Care Center. She was a loving mother and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Williams and a sister Billie Mae Caulder.

Surviving are her children, Renee Moore (Billy) and Steve Williams (Emily); grandchildren, William Austin Moore, Mary English Moore, Brian Williams and Kathryn Williams; siblings, Jim Richardson, Doris Rainwater and Nellie Humphrey and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 1247 Sandhill Road, Rockingham, North Carolina.

Memorials may be made to Scotland Regional Hospice, Morrison Manor, 610 Lauchwood Drive, Laurinburg, North Carolina 28352, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1247 Sandhill Road, Rockingham, North Carolina 28379 or to Thomas Memorial Baptist Church Day Care, 308 West Main Street, Bennettsville, South Carolina 29512.
