Nadege Gilot

Nadege Gilot was born on December 2, 1985, in Nyack, NY to the late Jean Benisse Gilot and surviving parent Agnes Joseph. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother and friend who touched countless lives with her radiant smile along with her personality. At the tender age of 9, Nadege had her Holy Communion at St. Ann's Church. Nadege graduated from Nyack High School and was known for her dedication to her work ethic as a phlebotomist. Above all, she was a devoted mother to Xzavier Jacques, Nevaeh Jacques, Prince Jacques, and Asher Childress, who were the light of her life. Affectionately known as Dege, Doun or Princess. She loved to have fun and be around family and friends.
Nadege's legacy extends far beyond their time with us. Her impact on the world around them was profound, leaving behind a trail of cherished memories and meaningful connections with each of her siblings, Anderson Gilot, Bettie Gilot, John Gilot, Kevin Gilot, Jean R. Gilot, Nerzulya Gilot, along with her nieces and nephews. As we gather to celebrate her life, let us carry forward the lessons she taught us and strive to honor her memory in all that we do.

The funeral service to celebrate the life of Nadege Gilot will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service, from 10:30 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
