Nadine O'Connor Obituary

Nadine lived in Johnston her entire life. She was the devoted mother of Olivia (O'Connor) Gill, Eric O'Connor, and Hanna O'Connor. Nadine also leaves behind her son-in-law Patrick Gill and her beloved nephew Nicholas Croce IV. She is remembered by many cousins and loved ones, including two very special cousins Jennifer (Ferro) Zarrella and Julie (Ferro) Pirri of Cranston.
Always one to help others, Nadine spent her time planning parties for friends, fixing someone's hair for a special occasion, and giving advice to those in need. Nadine touched the lives of so many. She attended St Rocco's School as a student and continued to be an active member of the Parish community. She worked at Shiek Hair Salon, Stop and Shop, and the Johnston School Department. Her family was her world, she was most happy spending time with her children and caring for others. She will be greatly missed by all who have come to know and love her.
Her funeral will begin Thursday, July 14, at 8:45 am from the "WOODLAWN" Funeral Home, 600 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Rocco Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday in the funeral home from 4 pm until 7 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are greatly appreciated to St. Rocco's School or to the Tomorrow Fund.

My condolences to the family and friends of Nadine. I came to know her when she was a young doting mother spending time at her sister in laws lake house and other family events.I remember her as a warm family oriented person, and a very good cook who always managed while having three children to make a special delicacy for any event.I was saddened to hear of her passing at such a young age , her family and children are in my thoughts.

I´m so very sorry for the loss of Nadine. I had the pleasure of working with her at Thornton Elementary School. She was very sweet. My thoughts and prayers are with her family .

She was the best always there for me and others when I was at St.Rocco´s always said hi to me even out of school. Just a great person she will be missed prayers out to her family Rest In Peace
