Evangelist Nadine Watson slipped peacefully away to answer the Master's call on Saturday January 14, 2024, at the Inglemoor Rehabilitation and Care Center in Livingston NJ. Nadine was born in Oak Hill, North Carolina to the late Rufus Reed and Mary Bumpass on June 15, 1940. Nadine attended the Granville school system.
Nadine was joined in holy matrimony to the late Paul Watson. There were no children from this union, but she was blessed with several godchildren whom she loved a great deal. Among her many godchildren she referred to the late Denise Plummer as her daughter whom she affectionately called "Niecy". Evangelist Plummer loved and admired her Godmother and that was evident in the way she cared for her; Evangelist Watson had her very own personal beautician.
Nadine was employed at the Orange Memorial Hospital Center in Orange, New Jersey and retired with over 50 years of service. While working in food services she was known for her caring nature and loving spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand and a word of prayer. Evangelist Watson was a member of Faith Temple for over 54 years, where she served as a Minister, Sunday school teacher, and Usher.
The simplest pleasures in life brought Evangelist Watson joy. She loved walking, reading her bible, talking about her husband, and spending time with both her church family and those who had become her extended family.
Evangelist Watson was the oldest and only remaining of seven siblings who all preceded her in death. She loved God with all her heart and will truly be missed by her church family and those whose lives she touched.
