Died on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center
He was born on October 18, 1952 in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia.
A devoted husband and loving father; passed away surrounded by family and loved ones. He was a man of great kindness, strength, and integrity whose warmth touched everyone who knew him.
Naiten's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were blessed to share in his life. His legacy of love, faith, and family devotion will continue to inspire generations to come.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Services will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 8, 2025) at Church of the Holy Cross, 440 W. Lanikaula Street, Hilo.
He is survived by his beloved children: Bradley Phillip, Rodney Phillip, Jovianne Phillip, and Avonlean Phillip.
He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Wylon Phillip, Avasha Phillip, Linasha Phillip, Enea Phillip Luther, Kai Anson, Doneven Phillip, Ernest Luther Jr., Aikoa Phillip, and Riley Phillip.
