Nan Mosely Obituary

Mrs. Mosely was a retired elementary school teacher for the New Boston ISD. She was a member/officer of the Western Bowie County Retired Teachers Association, New Boston Education Foundation, New Boston Friends of the Library, an Associate Member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Boston. She received her BBA degree from North Texas State University and M.Ed. degree from East Texas State University.
Mrs. Mosely is survived by her husband of 58 years, Howard, a son, Mark, a sister, Jan, and other relatives, and her beloved dogs, L.D. (Lucky Dog) and Babe.
Services will be held at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home in New Boston on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. with David Daniel officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. before the services. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, Simms, Texas under the direction of Bates Rolf Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sand Hill Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 25, Simms, Texas 75574, Read Hill Cemetery Association, 1300 South Bowie, New Boston, Texas 75570 OR the New Boston Education Foundation, P.O. Box 134, New Boston, Texas 75570
