Nana Edmond Koffi Nana Edmond Koffi, aged 46, passed away with his wife at his side, surrounded by family and friends during his final days after a courageous three-month battle with cancer. Nana was born and raised by his loving mother in Cameroon and moved to the United States in his 20s. He was married in 2011 to Monica Koffi and they have three children: Kennedy, Emerson, and Lincoln. Nana worked for many years with developmentally disabled adults and at-risk youth. The love Nana had for his family could be felt by everyone around him. He enjoyed going to his kid's sports games and activities and teaching them life lessons and skills like how to ride a bike and how to camp with Boy Scouts. He loved sharing his love of soccer with his family, teaching and going to the kids' games. Nana had endless patience and was a calming presence wherever he was. His smile was contagious and will never be forgotten. We are heartbroken to navigate this world without him. Nana is survived by wife, Monica Koffi, daughter, Kennedy Malo, sons, Emerson and Lincoln Koffi, mother, Magdaline Ashu Bessem, stepmother, Magdalene Koffi, sisters, Stella Koffi, Quinta Koffi Limen, Jeanne-Marie Koffi, brothers, Ivo Koffi, Ernest Koffi, and Peter Koffi. Nana is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A full obituary will be posted soon and funeral plans will be shared once set for a future date.
