Nancy M. Adamson, 80, a resident of Antioch, IL, passed away August 10, 2025, at Journeycare Hospice in Barrington, IL. She was born January 12, 1945, in Waukegan, IL to Willard and Rose (nee: Lesnak) Hall.
Nancy will always be remembered for her kindness and dedication to helping others. She was proud to call herself a nurse, Nancy dedicated over 40 years to this calling. She enjoyed trips to Door County and various nature parks. Nancy truly enjoyed making her grandkids feel special. Her laugh and smile were contagious.
Nancy is survived by her children Paul (Stephanie) Adamson of Cary and Susan (Leonard) Young of Antioch, her grandchildren Andrew (Ashley) Adamson of McHenry, Emilee (Grant) Fuessle of Lake in the Hills, Chelsea Adamson of Kenosha, Connor Young of Antioch, Carson Young of Antioch, and Charlie Young of Antioch, and her brother James (Kathy) Hall of Round Lake Beach. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Adamson, her daughter Catherine Hall, her sister Roseanna Bretzlauf, her brothers Willard Hall Jr. and Eugene Hall, and her parents.
A memorial mass is scheduled for August 18, 2025 at Our Lady of Lakes St. Peter Church 557 S. Lake St. Antioch, IL 60002 at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery 33100 Hunt Club Rd Libertyville, IL 60048. From 1:00-4:00pm a Celebration of Life will take place at The Shanty 38985 HWY 41 Wadsworth, IL 60083
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Northern Illinois Food Bank. All arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. For more information log onto www.strangfuneral.org or contact (847)223-8122.
