Nancy Lee Arcand, 84, of Negaunee, passed away peacefully Monday morning, September 1, 2025 at Eastwood Nursing Center.
Nancy was born September 2, 1940 in Ishpeming to Raymond 'Archie' and Matilda 'Tilly' (Juidici) Arcand and graduated from Negaunee High School, Class of 1958. She was employed as an executive secretary for Moore Business Forms for 20 years, and then also worked for nearly another 20 years for NMU. `
Surviving are her loving companion of over 20 years, Robert 'Bob' Nystrom of Marquette; two sons, Michael Ray (Toni) Hills of Missouri and Dennis Lee Hills of California; her brother, Dennis (Kris) Arcand of Indiana; special friends: Mary Prusi, Kathy O'Donnell and Sue Koskey; and several beloved cousins and friends. She was prececed in death by her parents; and her brother Reynold Arcand.
Honoring Nancy's wishes, no public services will be held. Interment will take place with her parents in the Negaunee Cemetery. The family kindly asks that any memorial considerations be directed in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
