Nancy Baillargeon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels & Cremation Services on Jan. 2, 2026.
Nancy H. (Guido) Baillargeon, 78, of Enfield, CT, passed away peacefully on New Year's Eve, Wednesday, December 31, 2025. She was born on January 26, 1947, in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Angelo and Evelyn (Gardner) Guido.

She grew up in Windsor Locks and was a graduate of Windsor Locks High School. Nancy met the love of her life, Roger Baillargeon, and they were married on August 13, 1966. In 1970, they moved to Enfield, where they made their home and lovingly raised their family.

Nancy was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family above all else. A talented cook, she could prepare just about any Italian dish, and her family will especially miss her beloved Christmas cod. Nancy also enjoyed shopping and could often be found window shopping at local stores. Nothing brought her greater joy than her grandchildren, whom she adored and loved caring for.

She grew up attending St. Mary's Church in Windsor Locks and, after moving to Enfield, was a parishioner of Holy Family Church.

Nancy is survived by her son, Robert Baillargeon and his wife, Dr. Susan Devine; her daughter, Michele Castagna and her husband, Dr. Wayne Castagna; her cherished grandchildren, Aidan Devine-Baillargeon, Alyssa Castagna, and Samantha Castagna; her brother, Michael Guido and his wife, Louise; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Roger Baillargeon, in 2001.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Road, Enfield, CT. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's memory to the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Organization at Komen.org. For online expressions of sympathy, please visit www.leetestevens.com.
