Nancy Irene Bamlet

Nancy Irene (Noble) Bamlet, age 80, of Nevis, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in Park Rapids, Minnesota. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Eastside Church of Park Rapids, with a time of gathering an hour prior. Cease Family Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.

Nancy was born on March 21, 1945, to Arthur and Mildred (Kaldenberg) Noble in Stewartville, Minnesota. She graduated from Stewartville High School in 1962. Nancy went on to attend St. Mary's School of Nursing where she earned her LPN. Nancy was united in Marriage to Gerald Bamlet on November 19, 1966. This marriage was blessed with three daughters. Nancy worked as an LPN, for many years, in Stewartville before moving to Park Rapids in 1982, where she would work for 20 plus years at the Dakota Clinic. Nancy retired in 2005.

Nancy was a devoted Christian and an active member of Eastside Church. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and bird watching. She also liked watching the squirrels and had names for all of them. Likewise, she loved all her miniature Shelties. Nancy enjoyed social time with her nurse and ladies' luncheons as well as taking her family out to eat once a week. She also liked playing cards with family and friends. Nancy will be remembered for her generosity and happy nature, she never complained, and as a grandmother to all.

Nancy is survived by her three daughters: lantha Hallauer of Akeley, MN; Aretha Bamlet of Teachey, NC; Tapetha Kendall of Trenton, NC; grandchildren: Danny (Alicia) Bamlet of Nevis, MN; Nicki Bamlet of Goodwin, SD; Jessica (Paul) Kautter of Cumberland, WI; Jasmine (Peter) Bamlet of Charlotte, NC; Jenna Bamlet of Teachey, NC; Trisha (Brad) Willis of Jacksonville, NC; Emily (Nick) O'Connell of Jacksonville, NC; Rachel (Chris) Fordham of Trenton, NC; Courtney Ayllon of Pink Hill, NC; Kyle Kendall of Trenton, NC; great-grandchildren: Keira, Shaylee, Taylor, Colton, Ryker, Emma, Harlie, Alex, Jaymes, Anakin, Elsa, Parker, Raylee, Jacob, Henry, Riley, Alice, Carson, and Evelyn; a sister, Ladonna Buxton of Albany, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mildred; her husband, Gerald; two sisters, Beverly Day, and Mary Nation.
