Nancy Lee (Glass) Beaver, age 89 of Kissimmee, Florida, formerly of New Oxford, Pennsylvania, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Harborview Health of Kissimmee, Florida. She was born on October 30, 1936, in Westminster, Maryland to the late Gillie Charles and Elizabeth Christiana (Koontz) Glass.
Nancy grew up on the family dairy farm where she learned a hard days work. Raised her family in Pennsylvania while attending Cosmetology school and working night shift to pay for her schooling. Nancy became a certified hairdresser and built her clientele through listings, hard work and word of mouth where her attention to detail and outstanding hair designs truly were a testament of her skill. She continued her career as a cosmologist when she moved to Florida in 1973. Nancy retired after more than 50 years in her career and continued her crafting.
She had a passion for crafts whether it be sewing, knitting, crocheting, making stuffed animals and even handmade blankets for patients undergoing dialysis and cancer treatments. Nancy truly was a kind soul who would lend help whenever needed.
She was a life-time member of The Assembly of God Churches; she will be remembered as a "prayer warrior". If you knew her you know she prayed for you. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord.
Nancy's presence in our lives was a true blessing. She will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy will live on in our hearts forever.
She is survived by three daughters; Barbara Smith of Kissimmee, Florida, Brenda Beaver and Denise Brummett both of Longwood, Florida. Three Grandchildren; Antonio Smith, Joshua Smith, and Christopher Brummett and seven great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her brothers; Ralph "Bud" Glass, Robert "Bob" Glass and Lawson Glass.
Visitation for Nancy will be held from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Roger C. Thompson Memorial Chapel, Conrad & Thompson funeral Home, 511 Emmett Street, Kissimmee, Florida 34741. Services for Nancy will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Conrad & Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor Jemiah Whiting of Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church, Intercession City, Florida officiating. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, 1615 Old Boggy Creek Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34744.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation in memory of Nancy Lee Beaver to the local missionaries at a church of your choosing.
