Nancy Estelle Reeves Black, age 88, of Woodstock, GA passed away on January 13, 2026.
Nancy was born in Atlanta on December 13, 1937 to the late Rueben and Lucy Reeves of Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Melvyn Black and sister, Dianne Reeves, both from Woodstock.
Nancy graduated from Fulton High of Atlanta in 1956. She was a Varsity Majorette and loved sports. She was always involved with PTA and booster clubs: from secretary to president.
Her eight grandchildren and one great grandchild were her life. Then came the Braves, Georgia Bulldogs and the Falcons.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Carol Craton and husband Dave of Kennesaw; Suzanne Arnold of Acworth, Cindy Messler and husband Tracy of Jasper and son, Douglas Black of Woodstock.
A private graveside service will be held at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens in Acworth.
