Nancy Lee Bombard, 81, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025 after a brief illness with her family by her side. Born on January 25, 1944 to Levi and Mary Betters, she was a lifelong resident of Au Sable Forks.
Nancy resided in Au Sable Forks, NY, where she created a nurturing home for her children, Stephen Bombard, Adrian "Abie" Bombard, and Melissa Martin. Her legacy lives on through her family, which has been enriched by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of whom cherished the time spent with her.
She had a deep love for gardening, often tending to her flowers and vegetables with care and dedication. Her green thumb not only beautified her home but also cultivated memories shared with loved ones. She also enjoyed participating in local fishing derbies, where her enthusiasm and spirit made her a cherished presence among her peers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Adrian F. Bombard; her son Adrian "Abie" Bombard; and her parents.
Survivors include her children Stephen (Mary) Bombard and Melissa (William) Martin; her grandchildren Shane, Levi, Jeremy, and Chelsea; and her great-grandchildren Brenden, Lucus, Isaballa, Grayden, Jaxston, and Zari.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Nancy's life on Friday, April 11, 2025, during calling hours at Heidrick-Zaumetzer Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Holy Name Church.
