Nancy Louise Bostick, 64, of Hoffman, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025. She was born May 11, 1961, in Richland County, South Carolina, to the late Cecil S. and Dorothy Thomas Bostick. Having lost both parents, she and her siblings moved to North Carolina and were raised by very special relatives, Brice and Martha Bostick Rushing and Richard and Grace Bostick who along with sisters Mary Sue Johnson and Samantha White and her canine companion of 13 years, Cinder, preceded her in death.
She is survived by sisters, Mattie Watson and Lynda McMillan (John) and brother, Sam Bostick, She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Christy McMillan Ragone (Raymond), Mark McMillan, Michael McMillan (Brooke); great-nieces, Rayna Ragone, Madison Johnson, Caitlin McMillan and Kyndall McMillan; great-nephews, Jason Johnson (Joan), Matthew McMillan (Tiffani), Andrew McMillan (Katherine), Brice Johnson, Domenick Ragone and Grant McMillan;great-great-grand nieces and nephews, Kenlee, Alizah, McCoya, Lucas and Amelia and her canine companion, Suki.
Nancy graduated from St. Andrews Presbyterian College with a Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education and also from UNC Pembroke with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Nancy loved her fur babies; especially her re-homed large full grown Lab-mix named Suki. She would also do things for others that go unnoticed until one realizes she’s not around to do those things any longer.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October, 22, 2025 at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
Memorials may be made to the Moore County Humane Society, 5355 NC 22, Carthage, NC 28327.
