Nancy E. Bowman, 80, Phelps, WI., formerly of Mountain WI, passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 22, 2025, in Iron River, MI.,
She was born on April 27, 1945, in Redwing, MN, the daughter of the late Wilbur and Maxine (Hager) Bengtson. She graduated from Suring High School.
She was self-employed at Mountain Stone Works up until retirement. Nancy enjoyed snowmobiling, crafting, and ceramics in her earlier years and she especially enjoyed being around people as she was a social butterfly.
Nancy is survived by her son, KC (Shanon) Bowman of Mountain, WI.; grandchildren, Matt (Vicki) Swan, Adam (Sara) Velie and Darian and Boston Bowman; great-grandchildren, Carsen and Zander Swan; son-in-law, Duane Velie; sister-in-law, Pat Bengtson; extended family and friends.
She was also proceeded in death by her daughter, Kendall Velie and brother, Terry Bengtson.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
