Nancy R. Brauner, age 75, of Mandeville, Louisiana, passed away on October 18, 2025. She was born on April 24, 1950, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Raymond "Rusty" Brauner; sons and spouses, Kurt Brauner (Cristina), and Kris Brauner (Tiffany); and grandchildren, Kate, Thomas, and Claire. She is also survived by her sister, Peggy Wilt, and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Armand "Pete" Richter and Mary Usner Richter.
Early in her career, Nancy worked nine years with the Veterans Administration in New Orleans. Later, she served as the Director of Tiffany Child Care in Mandeville and when that business was acquired by the YMCA, she was asked to continue as their director with a combined service for over 20 years. After stepping down, she became a sales rep for Avon. She loved traveling with her husband, spending time with her family, and being the best Nana to her grandkids.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Brauner may be made to St. Tammany Health System Hospice, 101 Ashland Way, Madisonville, LA 70447 or https://www.sttammany.health/supportsths.
