Nancy Marie Broadhead

 

Nancy Marie Burgener Broadhead, passed away July 12, 2023, in the comfort of her home after a short battle with lung cancer.  She was 84 years old.

She was born in the Miners Hospital in Park City, Utah on March 4, 1939 to Elmer “Ray” and Thelma Ann (Pyper) Burgener.  She married Larry Broadhead, October 13, 1957, in Park City.  They raised 3 children and 2 grandchildren.

She will always be remembered by her family as “The Best” mother / grandmother we could ask for. She always had a great sense of humor. She always put her family’s needs above her own.  She was a hard worker in every aspect of her life. She loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, and cutting wood.

She loved her friends and classmates dearly and remained close to them all. She attended all but one Park City Ladies Luncheons.  When she turned 80, she was the honored guest in 2019 at the Ladies Luncheon.

She is survived by her son Ray Broadhead, daughter Cindy (Clark) Martinez; grandkids Jaydi (Emmett) Benedict, Cody Ward, Derek Martinez, Sheena (Branden) Griffis; great grandchildren Izayah, Dominick, Lilly, Ayden, Elijah, Eesha, Aaya, Lindy, Hazel, Ryker, Rynlei.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Debbie Ann (Robin) Ward, brothers Bob and Glen Burgener, sister Judy Burgener; grandchildren Elisha and Joshua Martinez.

A special thanks to Audrey with hospice. As per Nancy’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.

She wanted everyone to remember the Happy Times.
