Nancy J. Brown, 86, passed away on March 24, 2024. She was born on February 25, 1938, to the late Leroy and Alice Hoppe Bent in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Nancy worked most of her life in childcare. She attended On Fire Christian Church. Nancy enjoyed embroidering, reading, listening to country music and spending time with her family. Nancy volunteered for Meals on Wheels and tutoring in the public school system.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Brown.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Brown and Karla Brown; and her grandchildren, Kyle Mullins and Chrystina Brown and Clyde Mullins, whom she considered a son.
Memorial services for Nancy will be on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 6:00 pm, at Louisville Memorial Gardens West Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be from 3:00 until time of service at the funeral home.
