Nancy Marie Brown, age 62 of Gulfport, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Neal.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Jimmy Brown; her children, Monica (Kevin) Lott, Shaun Brown and Krissy Brown; her grandchildren, Liberty, Charish, Memory, Kevin, Jr., Nilay, Nayla, Takoda, Chayton, Nicholas, Jr., Heaven, Isabella, Imelda, Jalen, and Howard, III; her sisters, Anita Meza and Theresa Snyder; and a niece and two nephews.
She was born and raised in Gulfport, Mississippi, where she created a lifetime of memories rooted in family, faith, and community. Nancy enjoyed the simple joys of life, playing bingo, sharing laughter with loved ones, and spending time with the family she treasured so deeply. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she had a remarkable way of making each of them feel special, especially during birthdays and other cherished celebrations.
Nancy had a well-known sweet tooth, and a Gentilly cake was always her dessert of choice. She also adored the classic charm of the original Hello Kitty and carried an impressive knowledge of U.S. history, a subject she was always eager to discuss.
Musically gifted, Nancy played the piano and shared her voice in the church choir, offering her talents in service and song. During her high school years, she proudly participated in ROTC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS.
